Pink for Kids was created to raise awareness and funds for disadvantaged children in Bali. It was created by a group of guys in Bali who train hard while wearing black. Wearing pink is having a joke on ourselves for the advantage of these amazing kids.
100% of sales go to the education of Bali kids in need.
Get fit, have fun, help kids!

Frequently asked questions
What does PFK do?
We design high quality active wear and hold fitness events to raise awareness for the cause of underpriviledged kids in Bali. Everything is made in Bali and sold by our partner Bali Children Foundation (BCF), a registered non-profit.
Why now?
The decline in tourism in Bali due to covid has hit hard for many Balinese. In particular many schools have closed for extended periods of time, young kids aren't learning to read and write. Family incomes have also declined as many parents have lost jobs or receive salary cuts.
What is the Bali Children Foundation (BCF)?
Bali Children Foundation is a registered non-profit ("Yayasan") in Indonesia doing amazing work in support of underpriviledged children and families in Bali. Their programs range from raising funds for scholarships, building libraries, education, and running literacy programs with local teachers and with local cultural practices.
At PFK our focus is on creating great products and events to support the kids. We chose to partner with BCF as an experienced, trusted and proven non-profit to handle all payments and donations for this project.
Where can I buy PFK gear?
They're not ready just yet. We're testing and tweaking the prototypes (seen in pics) to make sure they're the best shorts around. Yes... we're working on some hot stuff for you ladies too.
Where does the money go?
All payments are made directly to BCF.
What about active wear for women?
We're working on some awesome active wear for girls too.
What are the goals of PFK?
To ensure underpriviledged children of Bali get access to education and essential services. We want to establish PFK libraries in areas where covid has adversely affected literacy.
I don't need active wear, can I just donate?
Yes you're welcome to donate via the Pink for Kids campaign page (links to BCF website).
Do you need volunteers?
We sure will. Right now we are focused on getting the first release set for men and women. We have a lot of plans to get things growing to get more support to these kids. So we will definitely need willing volunteers in certain areas.
Do PFK staff receive any money?
The principle behind PFK is being a 100% volunteer based organisation. This keeps the integrity of the intention to channel as much of the sales to the kids as possible.
What can I do to help?
Buy a pair of PFK shorts and wear them. Start a conversation. Learn about the challenges faced by the kids in Bali. Alternatively, consider making a donation to the campaign or help raise awareness by sharing on social media.
What are the production costs and margins?
We don't have the final pricing yet as we tweak designs. But we anticipate the cost to produce the mens shorts, sold for $35 USD (499k IDR) to be $10 USD (145k IDR) unless we can increase volumes. We will share detailed breakdowns of costs once production is done.
Does the money reach the kids?
We are also donors and are equally mindful of ensuring the maximum impact per dollar donated. All production prototype costs are donations by the founding team. 100% of all sales goes directly to BCF.
Some of the amazing kids sponsored through BCF
Families in affected areas earn only US $1 to $2 a day (pre-covid), putting the cost of schooling out of reach. This leads to literacy issues and limits future employment opportunities.
